Removed ability to open music player in steam overlay?
Was trying to play the songs I have on bandcamp downloaded and added to steam overlay but I can't anymore. Is this permanent?

Yes, the new player now only has access to purchased soundtracks you own on Steam.
Can no longer play music files not downloaded from Steam.
Just switch to a external player like MusicBee or similar.
