how do i see recent players in game

i cant block griefers in l4d

Go to your steam profile page - go to "Friends" - than go to "Recently Played With".
You can also In steam overlay (left shift + tab) there should be a little box bottom left that has recently met players.

it's been kinda broken for me for a few months now , sometimes it doesn't get updated at all for days..

but i mean in game, when i shift tab i don't see the option where i could see the current players in game and recent ons

This may be a feature they potentially removed along other features. Might have to just use the site now for that.

website is inconvenient, also it doesn't load correctly (it detected my last met players in jun 11)

I don't see where this is. I open the overlay through my controller but there is no "players" tab

True.. i did play csgo2. on the 26.. im on the 29. now and all i see on my "recent" played list is from the 26. 3 days behind.. vp steam..
