Does anyone know of another game launcher we can move to?

I have had a gutsful of developers who piss all over the people who provide their income.
These idiots have made everything I use more difficult or impossible to use.

I had Steam set to open Servers when it loaded. No longer an option. I have to find it and open it after closing whatever it is set to open - that you cannot turn off.
I used to refresh the game server list then double click the game I wanted to play and I was in.
Now when I refresh, it deselects the game I selected. The game no longer launches with a double click so I have to re-select it then go to the Connect button.

I ditched Elite Dangerous after 2,600 hours of play because they did this. They seem to hire people who do not play/use the game/application they are changing and they STUFF IT UP!

My experience is that they will talk a lot of crap and make small changes but never fix what they wrecked. I want another launcher.

You could give GOG GALAXY 2.0 a try, which is a unified launcher for all your games from Steam, GOG, Epic, Uplay, EA APP and so on.

Google "pc game platforms" and have at it.

There are various launchers/platforms. Just follow the games you want to find which suits you.

This will still require Steam installed and running on the system AFAIK (if you're intended to launch games bought on Steam). Also because of Steam now showing full UI when starting a game from a shortcut (when Steam is not running) I doubt that Galaxy will run Steam games as usual and not trigger Steam window.
