turn off the store page opening!!!

Suddenly every time I start Civ 6 the stupid Steam Store page opens. HOW DO I TURN THIS STUPID THING OFF?? Having to close it is just annoying.

lol This is first I heard about this one, maybe a new "bug" in the new interface, or maybe steam will consider it a "feature" instead.

I used to have mine set to Servers but that is no longer an option.

I used to launch games with a double click. No longer an option.

When you refresh the server list it de-selects the game you have selected and you have to re-select it then go to the Connect button. The update is a downgrade.

If this is the same issue I have, it's because steam created desktop game shortcuts are now opening steam as an active window instead of minimized. With the old UI, the game would boot and steam would quietly log you in, in the background, but now it opens the store in the middle of your desktop.

You always had a choice in what opened when you started Steam. Whether it was the store, library, community etc.

well before the last update steam would start automatically when i booted up the PC, the only thing that loaded was the steam icon in the taskbar, no windows

now when i start the PC the icon loads and the steam window opens as well, i need to close it then launch the game i want by clicking on the taskbar icon

sounds good, does not work. still starting every time with a full window (and launched game in background tab) also takes ages on every gamestart now, whether logged in or not. nice update valve...
