Can't select specific game folder with new update
As the title suggests, with the latest steam update I can no longer select a specific folder I want my steam games in.

This wouldn't normally be an issue, however I moved steam to a different drive and now it wants me to use the pre made "Steam Library" folder instead of where all my games are already located.

Any help or work arounds are appreciated.

Hi. I'm having the same issues.

The 'Steam Library Folders' that was in Settings > Downloads with the ability to 'Add Library Folder' is missing. I cannot attach my steam game folders from other drives now including MSFS.

I have 3 steam game folders in 3 drives and can't connect them to my steam library.

If anyone has an explanation or ideas please comment here.

OK found a work around that I did not like.

The solution was to rename the steam library folder to 'SteamLibrary'

ie: Folder name 'Games 5E Steam' to 'SteamLibrary'

Then go to Settings > Storage > Add a drive (positive sign in circle) > pick the drive with your games (ie C,D,E,F).

All the games showed up after a short pause. You may have close and reopen settings.

Note before you try this make sure that if there is already an empty 'SteamLibrary' folder either delete or rename. I chose to rename since it seemed safer 'XSteamLibrary'.

Unfortunately this means all your steam library folders all have the same name on different drives. This is the part I do not like.

Now to test if it really worked.

Note: The solution above may wreck your steam shortcut icons.

I have gotten all my games working and running except MSFS. That is another story.
