Friend list always opens at startup now
Before, I had to select the friend list to make it open, but now it opens by default even if I have set the list to "offline" mode.

It didn't use to do that, is there any way to disable it popping up at startup in the new UI?

under settings -> friends and chat -> sign in to friends when steam client stars?

I have this off. I have had this setting "off" for a very long time. The problem is that the friend window itself now opens every time I start steam. It opens in "offline" mode, but the problem is that the "friends" window didn't use to open on its own when I started steam.

Only the steam window itself would open, not the friend list.

This new UI update changed that.

well if it's broken then can't do anything but wait till they fix it, which could be between 5 minutes and 5 years
