can't delete uploaded screenshots

before this update you could upload and then click delete and it deleted it from local storage, now trying to delete just says they're on cloud and that if you wanna delete from cloud you gotta go there, but that's not what i'm trying to do

now i have to manually navigate to the screenshots folder to delete screenshots from my local storage? what kind of idiotic change is this

Yea I don't understand how to get rid of screenshots now from local once it's been uploaded to cloud. Like you said before I would click on one that was uploaded to cloud and it gave the option to delete local as well. Why was this option even removed.

Now it doesn't even give you an option to even delete the cloud one from the library screenshot manager, I have to go to the screenshots page from my profile do do it but that isn't helping me get rid of the local version.

I just tried deleting like 10 screenshots from a game that were never uploaded. I hit delete and it goes through this long delete process saying 7 of these 10 were on the cloud and can't be retrieved once gone. None of them were on the cloud why it it even going through this whole process instead of just instantly deleting them.

I don't like this whole new screenshot system, everything about it is either bad or broken. If they wanted go trough with this new UI design, okay I chomp it down somehow (though the older looked better, the font especially) but its a different matter that it's inferior, worse and doesn't even works correctly.

Currently broken screenshots cannot be even clicked - if anybody of you meets this problem the only solution now is to copy one of your other screenshots and rename it to the missing file.
Not speaking from the nonsense that appreantly I have hundreds of screenshots from games on cloud - from which I never uploaded any at all.

I don't understand what the problem with the old system was, and why they needed to change it. I used to be able to just "Select All" and upload after closing the game. Now there's an extra step AND it uploads them out of order. If I want them to upload in order, I have to do them individually.

Why, Steam? Why?
