New UI is garbage

I never complained about Steam client, but this UI change is made so mad. I can't believe that someone who is making dissensions in Steam could approve this new UI. It's so terrible, the new font in upper main menu is awfully looking, the new fall down menu is terrible looking with these wide gaps, bright background - all of these completely doesn't fit the UI theme in general.

Moreover it restricted me from using my custom theme. Such a disappointment

What really drives me crazy is when I try to write some text for a screenshot. First, I'm missing the character counter and if my mouse just touches (not clicks) any other section in the top bar, the screenshot screen closes and in most cases the text is gone. I even had a screenshot where I typed some text and it still got uploaded with no text. Awesome!

I switched to Xbox from PlayStation because online was no longer free and the PS4 kept crashing, then the Xbox Series X decided to release and crash all the time, so I switched to PC, and now this awful Steam update has caused everything to take minutes to load. I think I am just the unluckiest being to exist.

PC gaming doesn't need Steam, at all. Steam is mainly used for its regional pricing to get games cheaper. I wouldn't even have Steam installed if I didn't need it for ESO.

Prefer the old store, the old layout, hell down to the old achievement page on each game compared to the silly new pop up, I haven't seen a feature yet this change improves. Should have included an option to keep the old style.

Valve hardly cares to give alternate options for end users.

The old UI was so cool and light on the system. Previously we could disable the splash screen on steam login. Now they have forced it back again. Also now it takes forever for the in-game browser to open. It's really a capitalist move and pisses me to my core.

It's actually the complete opposite for me. I've hated every single UI change at first up until this one, this is the first time the UI changed in a way that I actually liked. When they first showed this UI and it looked like the epic games store I was very opposed and I started looking at a steam skin to download, couldn't get it to work though but funnily enough this UI change is damn near identical to the skin I was trying to use lol
