Give us steam UI custom skins back.
I noticed that the option to change my steam skin is gone. I haven't used the default steam UI in nearly a decade because I use a skin. Why take them away in the first place?

It was a stupid and pointless decision by Valve. Let's hope they bring it back at a later date but we will see.

Right now the only thing I want is to get rid of that What's New bar.
If anyone figures it out, please announce so loudly.

And how gonna use skins even if they bring it back? The old skins can't work on CEF because they were not made for it, they were made to alter the old shell, not CEF.

Steam friend patcher still works because it made for CEF injection.

The chunk~2dcc5aaf7.css file actually seems to be broken.
There is a major syntax error after ".virtualkeyboard_KeyboardKey_2KhPX.KeyTheme_".
Do the developers even know what they're doing?

We might.. buut that does not change what I said. I mean I shouldn't need a point shop skin to remove that horrid red countdown notice

It's possible seeing they got new intro for big picture, keyboard color theme, so skins not far fatch by them.

Uhhh more like not very active tbh, due to lack of recent skins for old shell, but there has been more new skins for CEF such as library, friendlist, and overlay.

I've been using Pixelvision² nearly as long as I've been using Steam, and that was on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

And the Red Alert Bar has met a suitably blood end.
Details on how you can edit the look of the new UI here.

Specifically its for removing that Alert Bar but it can be applied to other aspects of the display
