Because it's in the Spring?
What does that have to do with the name of the sale?
(also, when there are sales every month or two, there's not going to be as much change between them as when there were two major sales 6 months apart in Summer/Winter)

The other illusion that comes along is that of supposed discounts. Due to the massive price increases in recent years for the same old content, games are still just as expensive with a discount as they were before.
Instead, we are treated to the same old titles in almost every sale, like "Captain Tsubasa" and other "gems" that are offered like unwanted leftovers. It really makes you wonder why many of these products aren’t just permanently "discounted" in the first place.
Last but not least so-called "90%" or whatever discount promotions, where either no product with the advertised discount can be found, or they are hidden behind geo-blocks, or they are heavily outdated. Of course, if, you can then find only one product in this category.
Seen this way, it’s year-round entertainment for consumers with lots of flashy bling-bling and relentless advertising.
I miss the Steam Delivery Girl...
"your income has likely increased"
Wrong. When you have inflation, like we have in our country. The salary does not increase as much as prices and all get less to spend.
You should look up what the word sale means. A sale is not the new regular price with the same discount that has been last months/years. In my country to present something like that as a sale is actually illegal. Like some tried to increase prices just before black friday sales to then pretend that they had a big % sale. But price manipulation like this is dishonest (in general), and illegal in my country. If they called it Spring list or something it would be more appropriate for what it actually is, with a few exceptions on some very old games.
If only they had put up 5-10% less than earlier sales I would not complain.
Dude.. your list proved nothing. They had same sales prior to this for all the 20+ that are on my wishlist. That they after that sale increased it again and then put at same price again with this spring sale is what you show in that pic, which was my main point!
"a period during which a shop or dealer sells goods at reduced prices."
