No, it's not the best, far from that. Steam forces you to wait when you want to play your games. Forcing updates on single player games, what a joke...
just because I posted supporting points in the thread that was demanding refunds doesn't mean I'm personally demanding a refund...
I can support a thing on the basis of the opposition being wrong.
Steam has always coasted on being functional rather than exceptional due to that popularity.
I'd agree with others that GOG is likely the 'best' as it essentially doesn't hold your games (thus your spent money) to 'ransom', and does put some effort in to make sure your games will run even beyond the platforms potential lifespan.
I would say Will Harbin over Elon Musk unless it was just for money with little input into the software for the older OS's. Elon Musk otherwise would probably do something big headed and tank the product's value.
Will Harbin for his sins knows how to make money and how to milk it from people because he will give them what they want.
So like now with jesters and the broken back button?
I guess. 😅 Launching Steam has felt like clicking Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky!" button since the June 2023 update.
Battle net from memory i havnt used for awhile but you could play the original Starcraft on it for free.
Get it and play Starcraft you know you want to...
I don't buy DRM software anymore. I buy from GoG.
