I was not educated about the steam refund policy and they scammed me .

On the 3rd of December I bought a game named "Riders Republic" for ₹500 from the steam wallet but today I wanted to refund the game as I wanted to purchase " Forza horizon 4" and after 18 hrs it will be De-listed from steam and never come back on the steam store so I thought I will buy it today but when I asked for the refund from steam it gave me the refund but they said that I can only spend the money after 24 hours . So now I can't buy Forza horizon 4 as it will be removed from the steam store in 18 hours and I can only get the money in 24 hours . So now I will not be able to buy it and the game which I bought"Riders Republic" will also not be purchased as it was on sale and now its value is ₹2000 so I can't buy any of both games . So I have requested for an instant refund on my wallet . What can I do? give me solutions to get my ₹500 instantly in my steam wallet. And I have already submitted 1 ticket and no one from the steam support has responded to it please give me solutions.

There is no such thing as an instant refund where you immediately get to use the money from the approved refund.

The way around this is to have money aside from the funds you are waiting on from the refund.

yeah it looks like you got screwed over, steam has been screwing over a lot of people for the past 5 years, steam support is tone deaf and doesnt do their jobs, and they put holds on everything money related

And? Refunds to wallet take 24-48 hours. It's not some secret knowledge either.

Refunds are never instant as it has to be approved or denied, via either automation or if it's over 2 hours in 2 weeks a manually reviewed ticket, they both tend to take time. Requesting instant does not mean it will be instant, that is not how it works.

"Pending" can be entirely normal, just like market transactions, for a day or two.

I think yes that I was not aware of any refunds in steam as this game was my 2nd game on steam which I bought and 1st one with a refunds but form next time although I will be aware but one of my friends said that the 24 hours is just wrote their the funds will come in prior time only

Where is my refund? My refund was approved, but it’s been more than 7 days.

Approved refunds can take up to 7 days to appear in your account. Approved Wallet credit may take 24-48 hours to appear in your Steam Wallet.
