Need Help! Stuck on Loading User Data
I saw a forum on this but it was last year december, and none of the solutions were really helpful. I just had this problem and now its my 3rd day couldn't access the launcher. anyone experiencing it? and those who had it before, what did you do? so far I created a support ticket but they still havent reply for a whole day after I gave the dump file. I also tried reinstall steam and temporary remove user data folder but none of those works.. This is the forum that i read before

I understand your frustration. I hope I can help. It looks like you have tried most of the local solutions available. From what you describe This issue is likely caused by Steam's backend, especially when your secondary account works fine in the same settings.

- The most important step now is to track your support tickets. If you didn't ask **Account Refresh** clearly in your initial message. I recommend replying to the ticket and clearly stating that you are stuck on the screen. 'Loading user data' and want them to refresh your account
- Using **VPN** is recommended, and attempting to access Steam while connected to another region is also recommended. Sometimes changing your network location can avoid potential connection issues or limitations. And this solution has a high chance of fixing the problem.

- If repairing the installation (using the Steam installer) doesn't work. It's possible that the only remaining solution is to wait for Steam Support to process your request...

I understand how frustrating it can be to wait. But when the support team refreshes the account Your problem should now be resolved.

Reboot your router if it happens and see if that fixes the issue.

already rebooting the router, pc and using vpn at the moment. I will try the Account Refresh for now

I recommend downloading Telleport - Best Free VPN, which is available on the Microsoft Store. It’s free and easy to set up. Connect to a different region using the VPN and try logging in to Steam again.

In the opening post you never mentioned using vpn which routes you around the internet. Turn off the vpn and see if that helps as i do not use vpn and do not have your issue.

nope, the vpn still doesnt work.. creating a new ticket now since they didnt reply for a whole day and it has been 3 days since it happened

The vpn does not work?

Did you mean turning off the vpn does not resolve the issue

turning it on, changing locations, turning it off, all of it doesn't work. I can login to web version without the need to use vpn, idk if its the client problem cuz if it is, then everyone should be affected by now. still waiting for new response about account refresh from steam support but it has been radio silence for 8 hours since the new ticket

Are you getting any error in event viewer on your pc?

Are you getting any error in event viewer on your pc?

alright, finally got in o the client, i disconnected my external hdd which i guess is the problem to it. I found it because when I tried to load my hdd from file explorer, it got stuck and had to end the process. i disconnect the hdd and reboot the pc. thank you for the help guys!
