Hey I’m switching to Linux can I get my saves?

I’m switching to arch and I want either my whole my whole library or just the saves. I have 2 drives btw and I’m dual boot with windows on the smaller one.

Yes, assuming your saves are stored in your PC, you can get the files transfered from one computer to another, even if they are technically just different hard drives of the same computer.

Linux is a great OS, but when it comes to games, except a lot of work getting each game to run, and expect more work whenever they update. Having multiple games on linux can be tiresome.

thanks to steam's proton there is no work to get games running anymore

just a few button clicks, not more than on windows

Put the files on a usb before switching if you value them, don’t rely on cloud saves they arnt gareenteed to work
