Buying Gems?

It says on the steam community you can buy them som im imagining we have to be able to sell them right?

Pro tip: Need more items to turn into Gems? More than 1,200 games on Steam drop Trading Cards just for playing them. Find out which of your games has drops remaining on your Badges page. Also, don’t forget to craft the Trading Cards into badges, the resulting emoticons and backgrounds have a higher Gem value. If you have nothing in your Inventory to recycle, you can also trade for Gems or purchase them on the Community Market.

When I go to the marketplace it has a sack of gems but it wont let you sell/buy

Neither. Sure you can sell gems.

They either forgot to remove that statement after the glitch/reset, or they're still working on bringing it back. But for now the gems in my inventory say "Not tradable, Not marketable".

Yes. Because you have to pack them in a sack. Which it clearly says in the inventory screen.

They're packed in the sack ReBoot. I still cannot sell them.

Oh they removed that for now, people somehow found an exploit. Let's just wait and see.

this is really stupid, how the ♥♥♥♥ are people getting 20,000 +gems? i have over 300 games in my steam, i game at least an hr a day how the hell are people generating that ammount of gems when trading cards are like 25gems each max, this seems unfair

20,000+ is possible. Now 200,000 gems and above is ridiculous.
