Why is there so much spam on game's discussion board?

There's the usual trolling people will do like mocking sales, player count, etc. Then there are these Steam exclusive Z-tier posts that are genuinely not even worth a shi-post in response.

They do it to try get clown points award which why they make dumb posts, but if no one awards their clown points they get upset at others that calls them out, delete their own post, keep trying harder for clown points, or move on that basically it.

What do you get from clown awards?

People that gives you Steam awards as can be any of them, gives you Steam points which is 1/3 of the value for it.

Example if I give you hot take award that cost me 300 points, you will get 100 points after 14 days from day I give you the award, hence 1/3 is given to the person that got the award.

Clown award is 600 points, and some people that are posting dumb stuff intentionally trying to get those awards as they get 300 points per clown award they get hence why they do it.

Whose definition of trolling/spamming are we using? Is that the one where only you decide what is trolling/spamming and what isn't?

If it really bothered the developers on their game discussion board it would likely be removed. My guess is they don't believe it is trolling. That goes for those that are marked for moderation as well.

Yet another individual here who believes they and only they are above the law when posting. Sigh ...
