Do any of you know of a few funny stupid sort of game or just plain silly? I have some spare time but not much of it and I just want to try out some new games.

Not sure this will qualify as stupid, but it's funny and fun to play. Try Just Cause 2. It's a blast to Cause Chaos and you can play short amounts of time without feeling like you need longer play sessions to enjoy it.

Thank you, I'll look into it. I've heard nothing but good things about Just Cause. Do you know if Just Cause 3 will be mostly the same type game play?

Not sure what JC3 will have that is new, except better graphics.

In JC2, there is a bug of sorts that was never patched and it does not hurt the experience any. When you take a Faction mission, you get on a helecopter to go to where the mission starts. There is a cutscene while you're on the chopper and it is almost impossible to make out what they are saying. They are only telling you about the mission you are about to do and that same info is available in your mission log. So, the bug is no big deal. Other than that one bug, the whole game works great. Have fun with it.

EDIT; They are sometimes hard to find but, the attack helecopters are a BLAST to fly and do some serious damage.

Well adeptus astartes wasn't wrong it was a stupid game... possibly fun...

But from what I'm getting is Goat Simulator is the game I should get?

Not really, it is fun in first 10 minutes and then, it's just meh. Believe me, I bought it and I know it. You will hardly have fun after 1 hour.

Goat Simulator will give you about 20 minutes of laughs, but after that it's just boring.

I'd recommend Saints Row IV. It has some of the most hilarious weapons ever, crazy super powers, and tons of references. The whole game is basically begging you to laugh and have a good time.

Or an Abduction Ray. Or you could throw cars around with telekinesis. Or you could blow everything up in an alien spaceship.
