Gift/Guest Pass meaning?
So I just traded a game for a game and after looking at my account history, it says Gift/Guest Pass. does this mean the guy traded me just a guess pass?! wtf?

i'm confused?

If it says you traded for a gift/guest pass then that is what you got. Other wise it would not say that.

Basicly the item you got from the guy you traded from is still classed as a Gift, but by default anything that is either a gift or pass is marked on your account history as Gift/pass, otherwise if the item had been purchased through steam store onto your account, then it would be saying "Steam store".

Other then that, if your item you have activated or added to your library is with a expiration to it, then it is a pass that was given to you, not a full game of what you have full rights to owning for life.

Correct. You can activate it for a time-limited demo only.
That depends, read what I have replied which can clear that up.

Indeed, saw your answer and realised I was off-mark. Sorry for that, this is deleted now.

No problem, the both guestpass and gift are classed within the same title when added to your account, like with me if someone would be to send me a gift, it would be classed in my account history as "gift/pass" still.

but for example if I were to be sent or given a pass from a even to try out a game, it would be shown on account history as "gift/pass" or maybe just "pass" which i doubt it would be.
what you guys are saying are just nearly nothing。I still cant get the meaning
