I wont buy a single more game on steam from now on till they fix this issue
there was no problem buying my stuff in american $$ my credit card providers was already taking care of the convertion so i was sure to pay the same price as any american with the change % current at the momment of the purshase
Only Capital One in America doesn't charge it. In canada all cards charge a currency conversion fee of around 2-3%. The 'best' you coudl pull off in Canda was using paypal funded by your bank, to get it down to 1%
I still don't get the point of the C befor ethe dollar sign ....
Steam decidded to do the whole change to various currency, not only CAD. Yet they weren't able to handle the euro pricing correctly.
Not all in Canada....
It's converted just add the ?cc=ca to see the converted store
Again feel free to poitn out any bank you 'think' doesn't charge a fee. I guarantee I can show you they do. TD/CIBC/BMO all charge basically 2-3%
I'd like to know which cards don't, but that wasn't what I was getting at. He's claiming he was paying $49.99 CAD for something that was $49.99 USD. You aren't going to find any card that doesn't have an exchange rate at all.
youve been screw we chek it out and we pay around from 1 to 4 $ depending on games more than the actual convertion change %
Assasin creed is now 69.99 canadian instead of 59.99 US wich mean its suposed to cost 66.78 and not 69.99
does steam really think we have something as stupid as that infront of our dollar signs?
Add the 3% foriegn transaction fee
Of course they all charge 2-3% but there's many more than just those lol.
