Steam OS on PSP?
Could Steam OS be put on a PSP or something like that? Maybe by hacking the PSP?

Because you need the OS to run the PSP. It isn't supported.

No. It's not possible. Simply put, the way the hardware in the PSP works isn't compatible with the way a computer OS functions. The PSP is more akin to a mobile device (and I believe it is possible to put android on a PSP).

It cannot be done.

Edit:-

You not being able to comprehend that it isn't possible doesn't change the fact that it isn't.

Search around. If you can find a way to put Linux on the PSP (without sacrificing being able to play PSP games) you might be able to get Steam OS n it, but the PSP is running on mobile hardware from over a decade ago so I doubt you would be able to play much of anything and it would likely be a challenge getting controls working as well.

Steam only runs on Linux systems with x86 CPU's. There is no ARM and/or MIPS version.

PSP doesnt have Memory Management Unit, sooo u actually can run heavy cutomized linux OS on psp, but dont expect that PSP can handle any steam linux game. But, if ve enuff knowledge in unix systems and some programming skills u actually can cutoff\remake SteamOS for PSP. Its possible. But y know, there is no reasons for doing that=)
