Steam isn't sending Family View PIN change emails

I've requested a PIN change email from the Family View settings several times over the last three weeks, but not received any. I have checked my junk email folder.

Steam support haven't answered responded to my support request (from the 31st March).

Steam - please help. I've bought a game that I can't access because it's hidden behind Family View - and I can't turn Family View off !

Steam Support is your only real option.

You can try to guess the code, just start at all 0s and work your way up... might actually be faster.

Thanks for your reply TirithRR. It frustrating enough being locked out of games, without Steam taking so log to respond.

Do you think there's anybody alive in Steam's offices, or have they all died? Perhaps we should send the emergency services in just in case they've all been killed by faulty air-conditioning... Or maybe they've all been sacked... Or walked out because they couldn't keep up with all the support calls they get.

Maybe all the frustrated Steam users have turned rabid and eaten all the Steam employees, or the portal guns have become real and drop the Steam headquarters into space.

Perhaps Steam have had lessons from UPlay... Maybe they haven't paid their electicity bills...

No... I'm wrong... I know what the problem is... None of the employees can remember their passwords so they can't get in to do their jobs :-(

I had exactly the same problem. I found that if I switched to big picture mode and then did the "send email to cancel family view lock"' I did get the email and it worked.

Yeah guys I have the same problem but it worked when i went it big picture mode aswell idk why thats happening but they should fix it
