Any way to turn off the "Recommended for you" stuff?
I don't want to see any of this on the store page, just would rather have it like it was before where it'll only show new releases/updates on the store page, is there any way to disable the whole "recommended for you" stuff?

I found out that you can unchecked the "Recommended" option by selecting 'customize' on the top right of the store front

I want Recommend for you gone, but how do I do it? I went to the top right of the storefront and could not find anything to uncheck. Screenshots of the steps required would be more understandable than one sentence.

Hover over the top image ticker (it slide with new stuff etc), at the top right, customise will appear. Click that and it will give you options to add or remove.

Thanks for this. I never hovered over the picture long enough for the customize to pop up. I was getting sick of seeing all of these games that I don't want. Steam for some reason thinks all I play are Japanese RPG's. :cwat:

Thank you, now I can fix it.

Yeah big thanks. This was so so so annoying. Why do they insist on treating us like middle aged shoppers who have never heard of the internet. I know how to find games of the same genre if i want them and being a gamer I generally know whats available anyway. Surely it would be better to put a menu option on the games that you own for 'show me more games like this' instead of blanket bombing the storefront with drivel?

I can't find it. There's no customize thing in the top right corner.
