Does anybody know what is going on with putting screenshots or artwork in steam reviews?

I like to format my reviews to include screenshots or animated GIF artwork relevant to the game, but lately, it's been an absolute random CRAPSHOOT whether it actually shows the piece in question, or just shows a raw URL link.

Last week when I was going through my old reviews, ALL of them were broken and simply displayed as URLs. Then I changed them from unlisted to public, and the screenshots worked, but the artwork didn't.

Now the artwork and screenshots on old reviews are displaying just fine (I'm not using enhanced steam on browser, this is the unmodified steam client), but the review I JUST posted with screenshots only shows URLs.

What the hell is happening?

There was an issue with user posted artwork that wasn’t posted in a game hub. For awhile, they were displaying only as links.

This was recently fixed.

Well, that explains why some of my old artwork started working again. But what about screenshots I JUST took yesterday and posted today? They're attached to the game I just reviewed yet are only showing up as links.

I'm starting to believe it might be because it's a demo review and Steam does not like people posting content on demos, since they have no community hub of their own.
