Wish They Would Show Games As Is On The Games Store Pages

Whenever I come to look at games on the store pages, I check out the clips and I notice high powered rock music in the trailer or clip and I am thinking they do that to oversellt the game and hype it up and make it look better than it actually is.

Then I go to YouTube and the game and gameplay isnt as good as it looked on the store page or doesn't look as good as it did on the store page. It would be good if they just showed us actualy gameplay on the storepage so we can see what the game is and what you do etc rather than hype it up with rock music.

This has happened to me a few times with checking out different games to play, I swear the developer deliberately add ROCK MUSIC or hyped up music to make the game better than it is.

I think I prefer going to YouTube and seeing actual players gameplay on the game or checking out a "3 minute" review and seeing if the game is worth buying rather than hearing the ROCK MUSIC coming from the store page.

I know but it would still be nice to see "ACTUAL" gameplay from the game on the store page aswell so we don't waste our money buying it or think "WOW THIS GAME IS GREAT" then buy it and find it sucks

Actually they're called Bull Shots and if memory serves they are, or at least were some time ago, actually against the rules for the steam store. Its been a very hot minute since I checked that but iirc, you could only have so many pre-rendered shots to actual ingame shots.
