Steamworks Redistributable doesnt update

The download doesnt progress and it says "Content servers unreachable" or "Content unavailable". Because of this, the many games which depend on steamworks will not launch. Wtf did steam do? Why ruin the downloads? Why isnt everyone talking about this?

Let me guess, you're using Windows 7?

The reason why everyone is not talking about this is because whatever you're dealing with is not a problem for everyone.

it is a win 7 problem, it is no longer supported, you now need win 10 or 11

Do not listen to the trolls, it affects users with other OS too.

I fixed it by clearing Download Cache in the settings. I checked this video and step 1 was already fixing the problem with Steamworks Common Redistributables. My games run now fine again.
