Better to not have any "hopes and dreams" for games, and be pleasantly surprised by stuff, instead of internet raging about "feature X which they sorta-kinda-didn't 'promise' but I imagined would be there, isn't there, so this is the Worst Game Ever!"
Reading that it's hosted by a 'games journalist' is enough to remind me of Cuphead and just stick to watching things on Steam like the Steam Summer Sale and developer-specific streams.
He was born with connections, his father's connections.
Then, he sold out.
I'll always remember him as the guy from the Spike Video Game Awards, on that dumb "boobs & trampolines" drunk fratbro cable channel, and wonder how he ever became a thing people care about.
If you believe those figures. Personally, I don't. It's far too easy to make such claims, just look at Ubisoft and their latest flop. They claim millions of people bought the game via their social channels, but they won't release figures to their shareholders...
It's even easier to fudge viewing numbers for a glorified advert such as SummerGameFest.
