If you do not take part in dicussions then you cant be banned for trivial crap
Tired of mods who wield ban hammers and have the ability to outright ban people.

Define trolling.

You cant.

There are unwritten laws, trolling is a term to enforce those.
Just do not post against the agenda and thought police won't touch you.

Well, trolling, by definition, is a crude form of intellectual sabotage ranging from grotesque avatars to infantile disruptions. Like "What if I were the worst part of the Internet ... on purpose?"

Act like a pest online, get treated like one. Simple causality.
just dont break the rules

100% anarchy is just a thought experiment... it will neveer work in practice...

People would kill eachother left right and center untill there's nbo one left and the face of the earth looks like ♥♥♥♥...

we should be glad that there are rules...

Creating a thread topic about not taking part in discussions isn't exactly what I'd call a "great start".

Even an LLM can define trolling, bro:

On Steam forums, trolling refers to intentionally posting messages or engaging in behaviour designed to provoke emotional responses, disrupt discussions, or generally cause trouble for other users. Often, it's done for the troll's own amusement or to spread negativity. The core of trolling is its harmful intent; the primary goal is to upset, annoy, or instigate conflict rather than engage in genuine discussion. This often manifests as disruptive behaviour, such as baiting arguments with inflammatory statements, introducing off-topic content to derail discussions, or spamming similar messages. Trolls might also deliberately misinterpret posts to create conflict or repeatedly bring up previously resolved topics just to annoy others. Their contributions rarely add value, typically being unhelpful, misleading, or outright hostile.

But if you don't get justifiably banned multiple times, you can't come running to the forums to post over & over about how the evil mods are persecuting you and/or how 'free speech is dead".

A "pest" to Ubishaft is just being present and disagreeing with people who say that the latest AC game is a success. IT is not.

Commercially it is a failure. They had 2k players during peak EU times two weeks ago. Tha tlook like a success to you?
Oh dear, banned again. Who could have foreseen such a self fulfilling prophecy.

The real mystery here is why you think you'd be allowed to do that in their community space at all.

What do you think would happen if you walked into Ubisoft HQ and started shouting about what a failure the latest game is? Why would the internet forums attached to their most recent product release be handled differently? If Sony and Microsoft had console forums, they'd also be run with an iron fist because capitalism values Ubisoft's sales over your right to do whatever you think you're trying to do here.

This isn't even a question of right or wrong, so much as you need to value your time more (unless you're planning to overthrow capitalism) because it's unlikely to change except in a way that increases profits further.
Personally I don't have a problem with trolling. Not sure why it's an issue.

Making a thread about not taking part in discussions, and then taking part in discussion about said thread about not taking part in discussions, isn’t a great example to follow either.
Mods? You mean steam support staff?
Yes they sometimes ban you for stupid reason or ban you but don't ban the guy who said the same things as you

This gives them prep time before coming back to entertain us.
