Why do so many overpowered main charactors in video games get tired after moving for a few seconds?
I've noticed that there are so many video games where you play as a mighty warrior or a super soldier that's based on semi-realistic, fantasy, or science fiction genres and your sprint is always terrible. You have characters that can take damage from spells, bullets, explosions, melee, etc and either regenerate or take a med kit and be alright, yet going fast for a long distance is too much. It seems to be prevalent in nearly every game.

Its pretty hilarious to see a super soldier that can save the entire world, yet can only run for only 5 seconds or jump 3 times and all of a sudden tire out like they run a day long marathon, while a nearly obese person can jump many times and jog for quite some time before they get tired. It's pretty absurd when you think about it.

The game i have the biggest issue with movement, is Red Dead 2. Don't ask me how in this day and age, there is no "auto sprint". Those of the most cumbersome controls i've seen.
