Is steam support down for anyone else?
I've been trying to return a steam deck purchase since May 17. So far steam support says:

"We’re currently experiencing a system-wide outage that is preventing the generation of return documents. This issue is affecting all customers. Our teams are actively working to resolve the problem. Once service is restored, you will receive an email from Steam with return instructions and a shipping label, if applicable. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

I've tried reaching out again but gotten no response. I'm just curious, has anyone else had problems within the past two days contacting steam? I would like to return the product within the 14-day refund window. Please advise.

If yes then they got your request, just support haven't got to the ticket yet, can also try starting another ticket if you want. Help page > My account > data related to my account > at the bottom say contact support and explain the issue.

I do have a ticket going. So does that mean I shouldn't have to worry about returning the device outside the refund window if it was do to a system outage on their end? Thanks for the reply.
Well as long the ticket isn't closed should count because the date request. But doesn't hurt throw a new ticket incase somehow support missed it.

The date you submit a refund request is locked in, so you cannot exceed the 14 day refund window.

Did you recently change or reset your Steam password? That adds 72 hours to all Support tickets before they are worked on for a while as a security measurement.

I think maybe I did change my password. That could be it too. Either way I just hope they'll get back to me soon.

Just pull out your crystal ball. Or just make sure your ticket remains open, or got confirmation you're getting refunded that all there is to it.

If want can open new ticket if ticket closed by mistake. Steam help page > my account > data related to my account > at the bottom contact support, and explain clear the issue.
