Does Support ever ignore requests?
I submitted a ticket 3 days ago and still no answer. I'm used to them responding in less than a day so I'm a little worried my request might have slipped through the cracks or something

Check to see if the ticket is still open.
If it got closed without you doing so your account is most likely compromised.

Steam Support ALWAYS answers, unless you spammed them with tickets over and over even if they already gave you an answer.

You should allow up to 5 business days for a response. If you haven't had one after 10 business days and the ticket is still open, you might want to consider submitting the request again.

If your tickets are being automatically closed (and Steam Support hasn't told you they won't answer that question), your account might be compromised.
3 days ago would have been the weekend though. (I know, Captain Obvious there.) Meaning that Support is always slow coming out of the weekend.
all the damn time. they act within 24 hours if they give a ♥♥♥♥. like 99% of my internactions with them are within minutes because its an automated process like refunds or within around 12 hours. youll know you got under their skin when you stop getting notifications when they close the thread.

if you went over 24 hours and its not the weekend which im pretty sure just doesnt actually matter its safe to say they are ignoring you.

Again, Steam Support will ALWAYS respond unless you harass them to a degree where they take away your ability to create Tickets.

If Tickets close on their own without any such reason then the account is most likely compromised.

https://store.steampowered.com/stats/support/

Typical support stats show that you can wait for up to 36 hours. Being typical stats, this also means some people will wait longer.

It's crazy really, pointless to even send the requests anymore, all they send back is copy and pasted nothingburgers of information that have nothing to do with the original request...that is if you're lucky enough to get a response.

My fastest ticket got a reply in about 12 minutes and the longest that stayed open was 4 years lol. They replied out the blue one day asking if I still needed help.

I might be wrong but 4 years is probably that long, that it's very unique.

Oh well, the backlog... :hype:

Let's hope it won't be 4 years again. :AssuredTraveler:
I got a response to a steamworks support ticket that I had filed 7 weeks prior. It wasn't anything high priority, so it was fine that it took that long, but I can't help but wonder if it got looked at and forgotten at some point before the seven week mark.
