Pretending to be friend

So the unknown guy started talking with me and his name and avatar was shown to me as my friends then when i click on profile i got someones else account i mean like he looks like my friend pretending to be him but its not when i click also when hover says not friends so How the ♥♥♥♥ this is possible when he chatting he is my friend on his profile he is completely another

i do not use the chat or any of that

i do know that i could change my name and pic to match others, though

as long as i had the image, at least

(should say i checked api all fine with it and yea person is not my friend when i click it lets say "reveals truth")
