Um, I'm pretty sure Steam stopped selling movies years ago.

What movies did you buy and do you have a link to their store page?
yup. theyre theyre. you just cant purchase them anymore and if you click play it just sends you to a broken link.
ya. they did stop years ago but that doesnt mean that i should just have my purchases voided without getting a refund or a hard copy sent to me.

wow. itll work with almost any browser but firefox which has been my browser of choice for most of my life... wth steam...
Chrome is the new IE. Just like lots of sites worked best on IE6 back in the day, we're kinda seeing the same things now with Chrome, where user base is so dominant it's the only browser that "matters".

*sings* saaaaaaad but tru ewwww
Works just fine for me in Firefox. Click play in the client and it opens a new tab in Firefox.
I remember when Valve tried to get into the movie-and-TV-selling game. That was dumb. I remember someone complaining that they were missing the later seasons of The Walking Dead because they were buying them one paycheck at a time, so their account forever is missing the later seasons.

This is why I stopped buying digital. Digital is for the birds.

mine does the same but then says i must update steam. steam is up to date. so its not on my end. especially since it works with not a hiccup with chrome by simply copying the url firefox had in its hands and copy/paste it into chrome. no reason to even bother fooling with whats wrong with the communication between the 2 programs when one is working without fooling with it.
"dont break whats not broken."
Even with the DRM setting enabled, I can’t get it working in Firefox. Some movies work some don’t.
