Friend supposedly loading several games at the same time

Hi!
When someone in your friends list loads a game, you can see his name at the right bottom of the screen, right?
Well, one of my friends has been showing up all day, as if he were loading a different game every 3 seconds. Sometimes it's 3 games at the same time.
I've already reloaded Steam client several times, but it didn't work.
I sent the person a message, but I think I was just ignored. 😕

Do you know how to fix this? I mean without deleting the person from the friends list.

Yep they're using a game idler, which allows you to 'run' multiple games without actually opening them so you can get cards for trading. If they won't do anything you'll have to remove them.

Why don't you ask your friend? I mean, what's the point in having them on your friends list if you're never going to speak to them?!
