I'm tired of the "jester" steam award junking up my comments section for games

We already have the "hilarious" steam award for when a user is actually funny. But people generally give the "jester" steam award to people who post rage bait. People like attention and literally only post their rage bait to get the award and I am tired of seeing it pop up when a developer gives an update or there's a discussion thread. I want less rage bait and more genuine comments about the patch notes or announcement that the developer has sent out.

"rage bait" - often, but in reallity most of the time is labaled to anyone who complain, critisism, rant on other people threads subject that people care or have issues on the subject they're invested.
It's become increasingly difficult to talk about anything that isn't positive or neutral.

Steam and any game community forums became extremely toxic because of jesters. Used by bullies and trolls to trash and shame other people.

Too bad steam won't do anything about it.
At this point you just have be a toxic A-hole just like them and throw jester back at them. Eye for an eye sorta way.

I think getting a jester is much better than getting reported, if you post ragebait. Ragebait posts are against the steam online code of conduct.

Anyway, If you don't like the jester award, try altering how you post. If you've not noticed, not every post has a jester award. It's just certain posts. Try to figure out what those posts have in common with your posts, and then stop doing that in your posts. Problem solved.
