Steam discussion bans are ridiculous

You likely got banned "for multiple weeks" because you have a history of bans. The more you get, the stronger they get. Even for a small offense like pointless spam posts.

Yes, quite. And now that i'm shopping for new Win 11 based PC, and now not having to gripe about Win 7, most all of my efforts from here on, will be about improving moderation practicies.

next time just create a better title and ask in the body of the message

what would be a warning becomes a ban when you have a lot of them

for this to be two weeks at the start means you have a lot

you are doing i with the wrong people, though

we do not make these rules

we are just letting you know what it is that caused this

it is not a steam only thing

many forums do not want to you to do what you did

they want the body used to ask whatever question you have

not being there when the rule was created i can only guess as to why

maybe a former mod has some insight
