Steam game recording "Low disk space - Unable to record or create clips" IE we broke recording to network folders.
Valve why did you remove my ability to record clips to my network storage? I do not want to record clips to my local machine. it has enough storage for games, the nas was literally built to ingest video. It worked on release and since apparently an update has been pushed that broke or disabled sending the recordings to a network folder. when I click on "Change folder" in the steam gui I do not see any of my network folders. the clips and video recordings to successfully land in the network folder. just steam says they are unplayable and if I export the clips they are super choppy (this started a few weeks ago. release till a few weeks ago it worked flawlessly)

I see my network folder just fine in that change folder setting. I have a TrueNAS server on the network that I built a few years ago and it's sitting right where it should be in my file explorer window.

Maybe you have a unique setup that broke. Hit up the Game Recordings section of the Beta group discussions to report it or get help from others:

I'm getting the same thing now. I have 500GB left on my cloud storage for my steam clips and recordings, but I can't make any cuz steam says I'm running low on storage.

Only noticed it this week as well and I haven't had this issue in the past. Did you find a solution to this?
