Injecting games into steam account
Hi. Pls help as i would like to report someone who's selling this software used for injecting games into steam account without the need to legally purchase the game itself. I browsed the steam support section but unfortunately it's asking me the steam link or the account of the person who's involved. I saw the ads at FB at it had a lot of inquiries on it. Maybe steam needs to update their system to fix this loophole

Valve isn't the internet police. It's control only spams Steam platform. If the thing you are trying to report isn't on or doesn't happen on Steam, you'll need to report the thing to platform it's present or taking place. IE. anything happening on Discord you report to Discord, anything happening on X you report to X, anything happening on Reddit you report to Reddit, anything happening in Facebook you report to Facebook, so on and so forth.

You can't inject games into a Steam account. A licence can only be added through a key, or by a store purchase. The (fake) software is the scam so just report the advert to the platform host i.e Facebook.
Steam allows you to add games that you did now purchase on steam by providing an ability to enter the license key
There's a newer Turkish video that shows a program that allows you to do this.

Ok, there is a video that shows something.

While chances of Steam having a bug that actually allows doing this are pretty low, they are likely NOT zero. Regardless, Steam would fix this bug very quickly.
this is not the first time that someone has posted about this

it is a fake ad and video

nobody is injecting games into accounts
this guy is using a software and there's a video demo posted online. guest what, there are buyers who posted in the ads confirming it's legit. i want to share the link but it's not possible here.

i'm sure there is no such thing.
There have been several in the past already. People were even able to add previously delisted items to their account. They likely got banned eventually, but this stuff does actually happen.

Ever heard of False advertising. Don't believe everything what you see on the internet. if you can't share the link then it is obvious its some kind of scam

Oh, those 'programs' have been around for a loooong time.
They're only good to have your account compromised.

The ones that actually work are just to add all the free games and DLCs to your account in an automated manner (There's acutally lots of those items)

"There's a youtube video of it so it must be true" The bane of a generation.
of course no one wants to risk their legit account for this scheme. they will probably create new account
Add a non steam game to library, or what? They're adding a game they didn't pay for?

I mean, if they didn't buy a game, they're playing it, it shows them playing it on steam, I doubt anyone is going to do anything because I don't think that's a high priority considering the rarity of it occurring

I would imagine someone gets the cd key somehow or they have a keygen and some backdoor software for the program to boot up without an official license or a fake license.

Some people do this, but I doubt it's very prevalent. If it was then it would be drastically affecting sales on steam

And if anything explains me not buying games it's because of my backlog and not really wanting to spend money now
Good old scam. XD
the app doesn't use cdkey to activate a product instead, it only requires APP ID
