Undo accidental achievement reset?
My spouse is not a gamer, but plays exactly one video game - Baldur's Gate 3. It's an outlier for them and they're obsessed with completing all the the achievements. They were frustrated that a bug was preventing the game from logging progress on one of their last few unearned achievements (I didn't ask which), and took it upon themselves to use Steam console commands to award themselves the bugged achievement (after meeting the award criterion today). Except they didn't do it correctly and accidentally zeroed all their achievements.

Is there any way to restore achievements from the cloud or a local Steam file? Or is it too late to restore from a local copy? Cloudsync was on, and their library is already showing no achievements for the game.

An obvious answer is for them to use console commands to restore the achievements they already had, but they want the dates to reflect their actual progress over the last couple years, and not to all be today's date.

Any help appreciated!

She would have to use the console, or SAM (which is easier to use). Whether the time stamps are affected or not depends on the game as near as I can tell. Some will shown the original completion date, others the most recent.
