The breach happened on your end, it is only natural that they cannot help you, because every one of us is responsible for our account's security.
Steam Item Restoration Policy
You gave away all your account details.
The account name, the password and the KEY to the door, the Steam Guard Mobile code giving them access to the account.
How? by either logging into a known scam site or item sell sites, fake steam log-in websites, or by tailored malware on your PC, the vote for my team scam, you have a pending ban scam on Discord, free knife click the link etc.
How does Steam (a program) know it is not you when all the account details are correct? It doesn't, therefore any action taken on your account is seen as you doing said actions.
The alternative is not plausible:
1) Someone would have to "GUESS" your account name from "millions of possible combinations".
2) Next they would have to "GUESS" your password from "millions of possible combinations" and then match it to your account name with "millions of possible combinations".
3) And finally they would have to "GUESS" the Steam Guard Mobile code "which changes every 30 seconds" to match both your account name and password to then have access your account.
Your account was phished / hijacked. Follow steps 1- 7 to secure your account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
7. Make sure your steam recovery email account is secure
Steam will NOT return lost funds or Items.
Keep in mind that after a set number of failed logins, which is far less than 2 billion, probably around 10. Maybe even 5, the account gets locked from being able to be logged into.
It is mathematically impossible for someone to hack a steam account. It's more likely to win the lottery, get struck by lightning twice, and then get hit by a meteorite and survive all that... all in the same day than it is for you to have your steam account hacked.
The only reasonable explanation is that you've given your deets away on a phishing site, because that is the only explanation that has a mathematical probability of being greater than 1 in about 1.8 undecillion or 1,800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. And yes, that is a lot of zeroes.
Unfortunately, math doesn't lie. Either you are literally the most unlucky person in the entirety of the human race, and in fact in the genus of ♥♥♥♥, which goes back 2.8 million years to ♥♥♥♥ Habilis... or like everyone else that has said they've gotten hacked... you gave away your deets.
Unfortunately you are drawing some very illogical conclusions. The account was hacked with the help of MALWARE. What's really annoying is that while the account was hacked, nothing could be done, losing the items + 2 games! I'm not looking for attention and believe me I have things to do, but in my free time I prefer to have a moment of peace playing something rather than having my accounts hacked!
So the choices are, you either gave away your details or you used some sort of shady tool that either contained a keylogger or installed a keylogger onto your computer and thus you still gave away your deets, via not practicing basic internet security. Either which way, you gave your info away.
I understand their policy of not returning my items, so to speak. But why did my PRIME disappear from CsGo2 and Assasin's Valhala? All I can say is be careful and don't be in my situation, it's not pleasant!
Games can not be deleted. They can only be hidden. You can restore them at any time. This is also true for the CS2 Prime Status Upgrade.
How to restore the CS2 Prime Status Upgrade:
Secure your account first (see post #4).
so you gave your logins away and thats how they got in have you ever use your api on anyting ?
What amazes me is that he got into my account, as the Steam team said, with the help of a MALWARE. I was on Steam and he simply wouldn't let me do anything, he stole my items, he deleted all my friends. I tried to block him but he removed his block and wouldn't let me do anything.
What's even weirder is that when I wanted to play csgo it wouldn't let me access premier even though I don't have prime. It's weird because I've had CsGo for over 5 years and I bought it for 15euro because it was paid a few years ago. And I also realized when I wanted to play Assassin's Valhala it wasn't in the library anymore even though I bought it, and it was telling me to buy it again. I didn't even know that was possible.
I honestly tell you that the STEAM team closed all my support requests.
Although I also had the password + steamGuard. The only thing I did was leave the inventory public.
Although if someone hacks my account, shouldn't STEAM security automatically intervene? Honestly, I don't understand anything anymore.
Did you read any of the answers in this thread?
You have been told what to do. Follow the steps posted earlier in the thread to secure your account. Do all of the steps, even the ones you think don't apply to you.
Once your account is secure, go to the support site (click on support at the top of the page), then search for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Click on the result. You should then see a page that asks: What problem are you having with this product?
Select "It's not in my library" then follow the instructions.
Did Steam support tell you they would not answer your question anymore? If they have not told you this and your tickets are being automatically closed without a reply from Steam support, your account is still compromised.
