Nope, I don't want any of the games that I like subjected to that crap
One example is the GTA series. If someone known the games from the beginning, you could start playing as a young child and, if things continue like this (GTA 6, maybe even 7), keep playing virtually the same game/franchise into retirement. In countless versions (but in the end they are all the same thing).
