how do i know where the game developer/ game publishers are from
i would like to avoid game publishers from russia and America. I know this blocks majority of the games. but i would rather spend money on indie games from other countries rather than games from these 2 countries. any chance to identify easily?

Use a search engine and type the Developers business name from the store page into said search engine. Often there are wiki entries or the Devs site themselves for "About" will tell you where they're from.
well this is what i am doing right now. but was hoping to find like a flag or something already in steam to simplify. i couldn't find any so was hoping someone else had any idea . but i guess its what it is

Yeah you're not going to find that on Steam.

Also keep in mind that the main business or mailing address of a developer may not tell the whole picture. Many studios, including indies contract out for work done with other companies and individuals - including those in America and Russia.

don't punish indie devs for their bad governments

This blocks Owlcat(Miss nothing there), Activision-Blizzard, EA, and Bethesda to my knowledge. You're not missing out on a majority of games.

Pretty much every other major developer/publisher to my knowledge are Canadian(Ubisoft) or are Japanese(Capcom and Sega).

A lot of indie devs are from the US, but not all of us agree with what the government or... a lot of people on steam from our country are doing....
thanks for the inputs
