Dragon Quest VIII - On google Play but not steam
As a new steam user, just wondering why PS2 titles like Dragon Quest VIII are on google play but not steam?

Are there plans to bring it to steam?
If not, Any suggestions on how else I can play this title aside from G.play?

You will need to contact the game company that owns it as it's on them to port it to the pc and place it on steam.

That's up to Square Enix. Different markets get different releases.

For Steam, they're remaking the games starting with 3 that's out now, followed by 1+2 hopefully this year. I expect they'll keep going and we will eventually get an updated or remastered version of 8.

You could play the game on PS2 or 3DS.

Why? There are plenty of games out there on one platform but not another. The choice of where to sell is 100% on the devs/pubs, and not all of them care to sell on every and all platforms, regardless of how personally enamored you are with any particular one.
