You have to wait for the mod creators to update their mods, or just don't use mods in games.
You basically want older beta branch version enabled for the game. Ask the game devs for access to them so your mods don't break and you don't need to update to be on the latest version.
Choose the second option from Properties in your library. Go to steamapps folder, find appmanifest_[appid] and set it to read-only. Note that you have to do that again each the Steam client updates, but the second option will keep Steam at bay.
Apparently an update to raytracing is what broke existing mods.
