Am I hacked? I was added a hefty amount of cash without my consent, and I am worried..
hello, I need help because when I logged in on my Steam account. I have received money without my knowledge although when I investigated my email and my transactions. Apparently, I have sold Dota 2 items, and it was bought by multiple people. Throughout my years in Steam, I still have a hard time understanding the community market, so I try to avoid it, all I do in there is buy cards that can be crafted for exp. I made '128' market transactions and it was all Dota 2 items, and I do not remember selling any of it, I honestly do not know what to do so I came here.

I originally had P115.22, then due to the market transactions (P140.95) so now, I have P256.17.

It is now mentioned that I now have (P486.61 pending), I asked my friends about it, they said maybe it's something a game that they refunded? I'm honestly not sure, because all the people that I've gifted before are just my real life friends, and they told me, they did not refund anything.

Thank you, I am genuinely worried and scared because I do not want to lose this account. :burosob:

reset your password and sign out of all devices, and maybe don't sign in random sites like trading ones because that's how 99% of people get "hacked" which is more like just giving them your info willingly
honestly, the only link I 'clicked' was that one time someone wanted to up-vote his skin in DotA2, but I rejected him because it was suspicious and I sort of forgot the guy, I didn't mean to be mean but yea. I have done everything, by the way! (resetting my password and signed out of all devices)

thanks for the help!

That is one of the scams... the "Vote for my team" scam... and thus you logged into thaty site with YOUR Steam credenttials and BAM... they held on to your key....
that aside, I have 'pending' money, right now. this is confirmed to be my SOLD items, right? man..

So you fell for one of the oldest scams on Steam.

Your account is compromised.

Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
