What understanding? You fell for some incredibly dumb scam which was completely avoidable. I don't understand that, and if you were hoping for sympathy & commiseration then too bad. Have some common sense and use it.

It doesn't take any skill or talent to not be such an easy mark, to not fall for dumb scams on Steam or the internet in general.
You most likely gave away your login information to some shady site or individual because you thought you'd get something out of it. That's your own fault. Your account is Your responsibility.
