BO6 verify and download issue

I tried loading up bo6 after a few days of not playing and immediately the game starts a new download.
This “download” takes for ever with only needing 3G to download. (Which normally be 10mins max for my internet).
The game will take a long time to start verifying and once done it’ll start validating and struggles to get through that (the steam disk drops to nothing very often during this process).
The downloadable side of my problem got from a standard 5-10 mins right up to over a year because disk drops off to nothing.
Left my computer over night to run while asleep and wake up to find 0% progress has been made and still in the “validating” stage.

Anyone able to help with this problem, I just wanna play the game after work when I want

Here are possible solutions (I would personally try if I've that problem):

• Right click Call of Duty HQ App (as there's no BO6 separate game now) --> Properties --> Installed Files --> Verify/Validate

• Uninstall COD HQ, and reinstall. (Tested with Warzone 3 - worked back then with similar problem for me I think)

• Activision doesn't want us to play their games Just get original black ops games or mw ones - Old = Gold. Or try battlefield 0_0

I’ve tried these options but unfortunately it still does the same issue. I’ve fixed corrupted files to help the system run better, reset the cache and verified the files. Nothing helps
