Portal 1 and Portal 2 Achievements not unlocking

This is happening with portal 1 and 2 for me.

For portal 1, I already tried deleting game state.txt and then playing the game to get my achievement before opening the achievement menu.

I also cleared the steam cache. I verified the Portal 1 files.

After doing all of this, I played the game and tried to get the achievement "Camera Shy" and it popped up that I got it while I was in the game. However, while still in the game, I went to check my achievements and it's still saying it's not unlocked still.
I've unlocked this achievement 2x now and it hasn't shown up.

Please, any other suggestions? I want to perfect portal 1 and 2. I can't do that if the achievements don't even unlock lmao

I followex the most popular tutorial on this issue and I still can't seem to fix it :/

You need to knock down 33 cameras to get the achievement. Are you certain you are not just seeing a progress notification? As in X of Y knocked down. Some Steam achievements display your progress toward completing them like this.

I had a similar problem with a game's achievements, I solved it by doing it again.

I fixed it last night. It turns out, I had to completely remove Family Sharing. I had seen one person comment that on the main fix discussion. After removing Family Sharing, I followed the guide again and my achievements finally worked. Thank you all. :)
