Other than that, the mods are out of the loop. They're not really steam users and just hired from some other third party company.
Deadlock is 99% bot spam, anything that's an actual discussion is instantly buried.
And Marvel Rivals is mostly trolls and people that are just there to insult you. You can post a topic of "Guys, I can't play Spider Man very well, any tips?" and most of the replies will just be "skill issue", "git gud lol", "he's so easy if you're having trouble you need to uninstall" and "just left click? lmao god you're awful".

Not my forum, not my problem.
They need to be far more active though which is what the volunteer mods were great at.
Sigh ... I think you are caring far too much compared to they are to be honest.
Still short answer: money vs amount of content to police.
For whatever reason, Steam decided to be different from literally ALL other forums and still give you notifications from users you've blocked.
