You are subscribe to a thread on a public discussion forum and why you get notifications. These are not personal blogs or groups you control.
Their choice after all that is why freewill exists.
As for helpful response it is the truth, after all if you are in public town hall meeting you cannot stop your neighbour voicing an opinion nor expecting them to be removed from your view when doing so.
The system works as all forums do. You subscribe to a thread you receive a notification.
There is a clear flaw. The system would have to check where you made a post, then check your block list each and every time, but not just you but every single person that posts.
As for change these are public discussion forums. Affirmation is not a pre-requisite to post.
Not true since their are posters who have me blocked and bypass the block they imposed by clicking show, quote and reply or simply include my post in a quote to another and actually are referring to me, or address the point i made without quoting.
