When you lose sub with netflix, you get kicked out.
There no time limit, or sub to Steam it's free that offer option to buy games at your own free will, can just stick to F2P games, and never spend a single penny, and still no charges, time limit, or sub. Hence comparing apples, to oranges. At least with Steam you can come back whenever, and still have everything, where netflix may delist moves, and shows overtime even if watched, sub, it just taken away. Fun how that works right?
^This. Post here.
You were never meant to be able to do that. Even the original iteration of family sharing had an IP block that prevented sharing between mismatched Steam store regions. So if you were truly sharing for a decade with someone in another country one of you was likely either using a VPN or hadn't changed their Steam store region despite no longer being in that region. Neither of which is officially supported by Valve.
There's only one exception to this, and if it applied to you, you'd know what that exception was.
